Dan Burn Always dangerous on corners and free-kicks, per usual, but may be another option to his teammate in defense rather than alongside him. A careless distribution in the second half nearly resulted in the first goal for the visitors. 6/10

The young full-back One more composed showing from the 20-year-old following his first cap versus another side. Saka was unable to take the opportunity from a clever backheel over the Albania defence. The left-back spot is his to lose already. 7/10

Adam Wharton His first start for his country. A bit loose when playing out but his whipped deliveries caused problems. An effective tempo-setter for the manager to utilize versus sides that sit back. Cautioned for a rash tackle. 6

Declan Rice Set-pieces from corners and free-kicks were dangerous. Had room to drift on the left yet found himself offside upon receiving in shooting positions. Granted a deserved rest on the hour mark. 6/10

The star midfielder Functioned in a forward spot out wide and also did plenty of defensive duties. Showed moments of class but mishit a shot over. Substituted late on for a teammate, his competition, after receiving a caution. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Had England’s clearest opportunity before halftime, his shot excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah holding position, he had to stretch the play down the right side yet his deliveries into the box were hit and miss. Replaced with 15 to go. 6/10

The captain The difference-maker scoring two more strikes at international level. His first a trademark opportunist's goal and the second a superb header following a clever run from his marker. At 32, he’s only getting better and England stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament with him leading the line. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play out wide. Was presented with a good opening when set up by the midfielder but the keeper made the save. Rashford had a greater effect when substituted. 5/10
