The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The influential video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, according to.
